Dustin and Rebecca George: Pursuing the Call God Places on Our Lives, A Pastor and Pastor’s Wife’s Perspective

Dustin and Rebecca George are on the podcast this month and dive into some of their story and how God led them to full-time ministry together!

Dustin and Rebecca live in Brookhaven, Mississippi, with their one pup and have quite the unique perspective as Dustin is the lead pastor of Easthaven Baptist Church making Rebecca “first lady” of their church.
Episode 26 gives us an inside look into how pastors and their families navigate full-time ministry and we hear the story of how Dustin and Rebecca met and how God took two very independent individuals (who might I add have a 19 year age difference) and called them to marriage to each other. Rebecca shares honestly how hard that season of transition from single life to married life really was…she left her family, community, and church family behind as she moved across state lines and became a pastor’s wife in a new small town. They also share how it’s been navigating leading a church in the midst of a pandemic.
